CTLA Lewes Dial-a-ride

Lewes Area Community Bus (Dial-a-Ride)

Lewes Area Community Bus (Dial-a-Ride) is a door to door transport service for people living in the Lewes area (Lewes Town and surrounding villages in the Lewes District Council area) who find it difficult to use ordinary bus services.

From the 20th April 2015, the availability of the service has been extended to include villages such as East Chiltington Plumpton Chailey and Newick as well as continuing to serve existing villages such as Ringmer, Barcombe and Glynde. We operate Monday to Friday and use vehicles which provide easy access for passengers – including people who need to travel in their wheelchairs.

The Wednesday to Friday service is funded by East Sussex County Council.

Lewes Area Community Bus (Dial-a-Ride) can be used by anybody who has difficulty in accessing public transport.

A companion may accompany you if you need assistance, and will travel at the same rate as Dial-a-Ride members.

In order to use the scheme you need to register for free membership.
